As part of our Biotechnology from the Blue Flower project with the Horizon 2020 CHIC Project we got our hands on some fantastic chicorium intybus specimens all the way from the Netherlands.
We 3D scanned several of the roots:
We’re now exploring the internal structure of the roots using various slicing and dying techniques.

Nice is it possible to share the model please
We’re using it as part of our CHIC residency project so there’s no immediate plans to release the 3D assets but we’ll revisit this further down the line.
