The Last Day

An ongoing daily post-photographic series in which each image is made with the knowledge that it could be the final work.

The Last Day is an ongoing daily post-photographic practice made in the wake of Objkt of Time. Each image holds a passing day through movement, accumulation, and algorithmic translation. Streets, landscapes, people, and incidental details are gathered through a custom phone application, turning the act of photographing into a physical encounter with duration rather than a single captured instant.

Where Objkt of Time began as an open-ended practice, The Last Day begins with the knowledge that practices can stop. It follows a period of creative exhaustion, regret, and a quieter market for blockchain art, making the decision to continue newly deliberate. Each work is approached as though it could be the final image in the sequence: a record made at the edge of the present before experience passes into memory, storage, collection, or loss.
