This two-hour workshop introduced photogrammetry as both a technical process and an artistic medium. Starting from the creation of 3D models from photographs, the session explored how spatial capture can be used creatively across visual art, digital installation, and virtual environments.

Alongside a practical introduction to the photogrammetry workflow, Alex shared how he uses the medium in his own practice to think through memory, science, and the transformation of physical objects into digital doubles. The workshop was aimed at participants with no prior experience, making it an accessible entry point into a powerful image-making process.

The event formed part of Science Gallery Bengaluru’s public programme and was supported by the British Council.
